Niloufar Safvati, MD, is a devoted obstetrician and gynecologist at Aventura OB/GYN Associates in Miami and Hallandale, Florida. Dr. Safvati has a passion for minimally invasive surgery and serving a diverse patient population.
Dr. Safvati began her education at the University of California in Irvine, earning her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. She later went on to achieve her medical degree from Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami.
After achieving her medical degree, she completed her OB/GYN residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. During this time, Dr. Safvati also served as a medical student mentor at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine in Florida.
Working as a research assistant at the University of California in Irvine and Charles Drew University of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles, California, Dr. Safvati has contributed to several research studies.
Dr. Safvati enjoys dancing, singing, weight training, and cooking outside the office. As a new mom, she prioritizes spending quality time with her family. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Farsi and is learning Hebrew and Creole.
Dr. Safvati looks forward to getting to know new and current patients in and around Miami and Hallandale and working alongside the Aventura OB/GYN Associates team.
